Our client, a progressive specialist legal firm with an excellent reputation for quality and innovation, is seeking to appoint a skilled professional to manage the day-to-day administrative function of its Toowoomba office. Reporting to the General Manager, and working closely with members of the Administration, Finance, Legal and Leadership teams, in this role you will ensure the efficient, effective operation of the office. This will include: contributing to the development and execution of the firm's operational plan; ensuring efficient workflows and compliance with both internal and external requirements; overseeing precedent management; managing, leading and developing members of the Administration Team; co-ordinating marketing and business development activities; co-ordinating the preventative maintenance of information technology and other assets; overseeing workplace health & safety; providing administrative support for the Leadership Team; supporting the financial function; and associated monitoring, evaluation, reporting and improvement. Your success in this challenging role will be underpinned by your: strong interpersonal skills; well developed planning, organisational and follow-through skills; ability to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment; ability to contribute effectively at both a strategic and operational level; computer proficiency; pragmatic, hands-on approach; and strong client service ethic. Previous experience with leading an administrative team is essential (preferably within a professional services environment). Relevant qualifications and legal experience will be well regarded.
